ADJUSTING TO REALITY

Adjusting to reality isn’t easy, especially when reality keeps changing. The dog that suddenly finds himself dumped in a shelter because his family decides they don’t want him anymore. Or, the horse that was abandoned in a field with no water or grass and is finally rescued. Or, the cat that is dropped off in the middle of nowhere and wanders into someone’s barn after a weeks of fending for himself.
These are all very bewildering circumstances for these animals. They do not have the coping skills to understand or manage these changes in their reality. There are acupressure points that can help horses, dogs, and cats by reducing their fear, clearing their mind, and generally feel more comfortable.
